I finally reached a customer service representative at I.R.I.S. Inc. The new 11.6.3 version of the Readiris Pro 11.0 is a patch aimed at resolving a performance problem that some users were having. If your copy of 11.6.2 is working, trying to acquire the upgrade won't change anything.
