Hm. I am not sure if i can confirm that using this software really cools down my mac. The temp readings for the cpu temp from this software and istat pro show differences from about 8 degrees C.

After having regulated the voltage for the cpu down to 1V for 1200 and 2500 MHZ istat shows a slightly higher temp of the cpu ( from 41 deg idle up to 44 deg idle ), but i also have installed the newest security update before having tested again.

But i am sure that while playing the fans do not rotate faster ... which they surely did before i installed coolbook.

Let's see how stable the mac will be the next days. For now ... i am not unhappy.
