This is potentially a very good program, but it lacks some basic but essential edit functionality to be really user friendly.

I have a pretty large collection of cd's and while not finding it that necessary to sort it into precise named genres (Rock, Indie, Jazz etc - in my case "Popular" and "Classical would be enough, but that aside) I do find it essential to sort it alphabetically.
Delicious Library has no trouble sorting the iTunes Library, but my other 'real' music library isn't consistent.

You can sort at Title, Composer, Creator and Conductor etc.
But this doesn't garantee you'll get the works of let's say J.S. Bach sorted together.
For example:
the scanned result of Bach's Mass in B, conducted by Andrew Parrot will list Bach's name under "Composer", while Bach's Christmas Oratorio conducted by Herreweghe doesn't, it names Bach under "Creator"
This way you will never get things alphabetically organized.

This wouldn't be a problem if you could manually drag items around in the library in any order you like or if you could edit the properties, in the case of the Mass in B disc for instance: type the name "J.S. Bach" under "Composer".
Unfortunately you cannot.

The scanning functionality is great when it works, but less than 40% of the library was scanned succesfully...still it is fantastic when it works, like magic.
