Best-of-breed. but it's still not great

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

Good looking interface. Big bold text in "Chef View" is a nice feature when looking at the recipe in the kitchen. Importing recipes from the the web is terrific. However: Keyboard shortcuts are not extensive (Frustrating to mouse-click to save changes, rather than command S., for example.) The shopping list feature is nice, but it remains primitive and difficult to navigate without mousing. This program is not (yet) a pleasure to use.

Best-of-breed. but it's still not great - nestorph

Are you sure you're reviewing the right product? MacGourmet doesn't, and never had, a "Save" command. It does so automatically, thus a keyboard shortcut is a moot point....
