no idea why but sometimes it takes days before TME starts a TM back up.
I am using an iMac with 10.5.6 and have instructed TME to do a back up every 12 hours.

Anyone else experiencing this?

You should try to enable the "Backup when the computer wakes from sleep" option. It seems that when using the "Interval" mode, Time Machine does not always automatically starts a backup on wake if the computer was asleep during the schedule time (due to an Apple bug).

same here!
can take days before a backup is done,
will try now to use the option 'back-up on wake' as suggested here...

I'm seriously thinking about making the 'wake from sleep' option mandatory when using the 'Interval' mode. I'll probably do this soon in a future update.
