Microsoft Messenger for Mac v7.0.2 is pretty much the same as v7.0.1, and to be honest, it's quite disappointing.
I say it's disappointing because this update does not add anything significant for Mac users :(, like webcam support, Winks, nudging, and offline messaging.
Overall, this update for Microsoft Messenger for Mac is pretty much disappointing.

Meets Expectations - Jeff Mincey
If there is any surprise here, it's that someone would expect major new features from a "dot release" -- such as to go from 7.0.1 to 7.0.2. Typically a dot release includes only bug fixes, some optimization, and refinements of existing features. To be disappointed at this reveals a lack of understanding about software versioning and software development.Friday, February 06 2009 @ 04:17 AM PST
Meets Expectations - Not - marikavs--2008
Ya but... where *are* the "bug fixes, some optimization, and refinements of existing features?" As far as I can tell from reading about it the only change is it "Improves overall quality and conversations with Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2." That's an update I don't need.Saturday, May 16 2009 @ 10:43 AM PDT
one new thing, actually. - Doug2

They didn't say the update changed or added anything more than that.
