Hurray! the latest release works again with PPC macs, so I can ditch 0.9.x

This is really a wonderful port -- Sure, the admin icons are a bit hard to see in the lower left corner, but once one gets their settings correct, these are unnecessary. Love this as a teaching tool for our kids. And just to play.

0.10 now works with PPC Macs - rowanwood

maybe it works with yours, but it won;t run on my G5 iMac. It bounces out almost instantly. Crash city!

Until the author can properly address the failure of this thing to run, I cannot recommend it to anyone.

0.10 now works with PPC Macs-NOT! - rowanwood

I just tried to run Stellarium 0.10.2 on my iMac G5 (1.8 GHz, 2 GB). Result...

KABOOM!

It immediately opened up the assigned system screensaver and then crashed. It did this repeatedly.

Obviously, it does NOT work on PPC Macs.

try again when you learn how to program working code

Wow -- really sucks to be you. Still working as of today, 10.5.6 on a Powerbook G4/867 with 1.12 Gb RAM.

Haven't updated to the latest broken piece of Quicktime Apple has out, but other than that, system is fully up to date.

As for slamming the authors for providing a free application that works for most folks, perhaps that's just a window into your soul, bud.
