Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

Things is just right. Some To-Do applications are too sparse; some require too much time and a masters degree. Things is "just right." Easy to understand, versatile, nice GUI. If Things helps you, all well and good, but, $50 for a glorified, partial Day-Timer is absurd.

It's far from absurd to spend $50 if it saves my bacon just once! If it saves me 1/2 hour of work, keeps me on time for one new business meeting, it's already paid for itself. Time is money, and it's absurd to expect everything software/online to be free, unless you like things too complicated or too sparse and under supported.

I agree with the original post. I beta tested it for over a year and really liked it, but even with the discount that I qualified for as an original signee, the price for this app is just way too expensive! Also, numerous requests for the addition of Growl support were never implemented, a feature I just have to have.

I do recommend this app if the cost is within your budget.

For me however, I have found a wonderful free alternative that suits my needs in iGTD. Personally, I like it better. It also has Growl support!

Sorry? You beta test this software and you still have to pay for it??? You must be joking. If these people (= developers) don't give their beta testers free copies, they don't deserve to get any penny from us.
