Good morning,
For the first time ever, when downloading updates, in this case Leopard Cache Cleaner and Mars24 I ended up with a whole bunch of files being placed in my Applications,
Documents folder, etc.
I tried getting rid of the first one for example ".DS_Store" and it just keeps coming back into the Applications folder.
Do you by chance have any explanation and also a way of getting rid of these permanently ?
I hate having stuff added to my 'puter if I never asked for it!
Thank you.

.DS_Store and other such files............. - Normand Turcotte
Sorry for this inaccurate comment. As it turns out, this issue occurred at the very same time as I was downloading and installing software. The culprit was an application named "Show-Hide files" which you should NOT install unless you have an absolute use for it.Norm.
