Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: YES

It appeared for me in Software Update--however I'm using a Mac Pro which is not listed as a model for this update (I do have a nvidia 7300 GT). I would have thought the updater would have been smart enough not to tell me I need it, we'll see what happens when I install it.

Appeared in my Software Update but don't have MacBook - Rault

...from the description on appleinsider: "The patch also improves playback of HD video on the new unibody MacBook Pros with GeForce 9600M graphics cards, as well as legacy Mac systems that include NVIDIA's GeForce 7300 GT chip -- namely the first-generation Mac Pro and Late 2006 24-inch iMac."

So, it appeared b/c it's valid on your machine. Let us know if you notice an improvement!
