11/29/08: After more than a year of having Leopard out and seeing that Apple has built in the functionality of SharePoints into Leopard, there will not be a new version of SharePoints. A good article that talks about how to do most of what SharePoints could do in Leopard is available on Computerworld Australia's website.

Too bad about discontinuing SharePoints. One thing that neither 10.5 nor 10.6 support is that files created by a network user inside someone's shared folder do not get write permission for everyone. Apple support verified this for me. Only the Server version allows permission inheritance. SharePoints was a wonderful way to get around this limitation of the Client version of the OS.Reply to This
