Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

I installed version 8.0.0b4 in my MacBookPro running Tiger: Import of my different mailboxes and address books and my settings worked without problems. Items I miss from the Classic Eudora are time queued sending of messages and signatures (probably I have to use templates to get a similar result). HTML rendering and character encoding problems - the biggest disadventages of the classic version - are forgotten now. And I really like the option to open messages in tabs and the much more powerfull address auto completion.

I only had a problem with opening my attachments. Despite toggling between settings a word doc for example had to be saved to disk first and then manually be opened from there. After installing 8.0.0b5, this problem has disappeared.

BTW, running the classic version and the new thunderbird based version of Eudora side by side is no problem.
