Will not work on Mac OS - bluej--2008

Just downloaded v. 5.0.6, but when it downloaded it showed as 5.0.5 and the file contained 0kb. Nothing in it. I have a previous version of 5.0.5 which contains 46.2mb and it will not open.

Will not work on Mac OS - keweenawkid_dotmac

Well, it sort of works on my MacBook Pro running 10.5.6. Maybe it requires Intel Macs?
But it's a buggy piece of cr@p anyhow. Plus they eliminated several very useful features from LW 4.
Trust me, you're better off NOT using LW 5!

Intel Macs Only !!! - gbdoc

This works (apparently pretty well, judging by some of the feedback) only on Intel Macs; only those use Java 1.6. Stupid of the developer to limit it this way, even dumber to not document this condition clearly.

Intel Macs Only !!! - TheJackyl

Is that right? Gee, I guess MY iMac Intel must be suffering from Javaless syndrome. Is there any treatment?

The same thing happens with the new version. Java 1.6 is installed, but it tells me it isn't.
