When I try to launch LimeWire 5.0.6 I get an error message stating that it needs Java 1.6 which does not run on Mac OS.

Just downloaded v. 5.0.6, but when it downloaded it showed as 5.0.5 and the file contained 0kb. Nothing in it. I have a previous version of 5.0.5 which contains 46.2mb and it will not open.Wednesday, January 21 2009 @ 08:15 AM PST

Well, it sort of works on my MacBook Pro running 10.5.6. Maybe it requires Intel Macs?But it's a buggy piece of cr@p anyhow. Plus they eliminated several very useful features from LW 4.
Trust me, you're better off NOT using LW 5!
