Normally I don't like to jump in with bad press on something new, but this is a case where it is warranted.
SlidePad which costs money has far less features than sideNote--a long-time free utility. Below is the VersionTracker link:

SlidePad also seems to be a shameless knock-off if not just plain rip-off of sideNote.
When you add these factors up you just end up not wanting to recommend.
If you're going to flatter by imitation, do a much better job or perhaps even give credit where credit is due.
I am in no way whatsoever affiliated with the creator(s) of sideNote, which appears to be a Japanese-based organization, but as a long-time user who has found this to be one of the all-time best little Mac utilites ever, I simply cannot justify someone trying to make money off someone else's idea--especially when they did it for free. That's just plain ''not nice.''
