I once had problems upgrading one of Intego's products. This problem couldn't be resolved by email so I called them. The person at Intego I talked to was immediately abusive and used language that couldn't be used in this forum. I ended up having to hang up on him not only without being able to resolve my problem but without even being able to discuss the problem. I will never purchase another product from Intego. I have removed all Intego applications from my personal and business computers. I do not recommend this company's products to anyone.

One marketing moron spoils the bunch - zunipus

Tech support, like it or not, is part of a product's marketing division. When customer abuse occurs it means the marketing division has become infected with what I call marketing morons. Their removal is mandatory. I'd rant on up the chain of command to the Presidents office to get them fired.

Meanwhile, I've interacted with Intego's tech support via email with reasonable success. I don't like their policy of not providing a list of detected malware. But the guy nicely pointed me to the various places you can dig around on their website to put together a list of my own. Obviously this was a dead stupid solution. But I had no trouble conversing with them.
