Promising but needs more development - philharve

I have found that most features of XTorrent work well and it is a surprisingly reliable piece of software. However, I wish there was a proper manual or other source of guidance because I have encountered one issue that I have so far not been able to resolve. I would like to download the files to a large capacity external hard disk because my internal hard disk is within 10Gb of being full. But try as I may, I have not been able to get XTorrent to comply with its Preferences concerning redirecting the downloaded files to a external hard disk with its own 'Incomplete' folder. The curious thing is I did achieved this once when I was playing with the Preferences to see what they did (no manual/guide!) but I have not been able to achieve the objective a second time. I don't think it's me, it is probably a bug, but who do I report the problem to? There is apparently no support. I purchased XTorrent Pro in the hope it would encourage further development. Have I wasted my money? Don't get me wrong, I like this product very much but it needs more work to iron our the bugs. I suspect there is more than one bug. Downloading to the internal hard disk works just fine.
