I have recently had a problem creating a bootable copy of my system disk with Tri-Backup 5.1.2 under Mac OS 10.4.11. Tri-Backup scheduler would crash at various stages during the copy process for no apparent reason. I emailed the developer who got back to me straight away explaining that under Tiger the process window should be closed. Apparently Tiger has a different routine to display icons and with the progress window open Tri-Backup will try to create/display icons for the files being copied causing it to crash.

I can verify that my copy process worked as expected with no errors when the progress window was closed.

Leopard users are not affected by this problem.
