Confused!

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I tried to sync 2 itunes folders - source on an imac, target on a hard disc. The folders were only a few days apart with a handful of newer files on the source. I expected that the new files would be added and any others be updated as required. SyncTwoFolders began copying every single file from the source to the target and would have taken forever to do so with 1000s of files. I could simply have copied the entire source folder to the hard disc and much quicker. Yes? But surely I must either be doing something wrong or have misunderstood what the application does. Can anyone enlighten? Thanks.

I'm the author. Please have a look "Sync file are copied again?" on http://tcfj.pagesperso-orange.fr/site/programmes/realbasic/SyncTwoFolders_FAQ.html

My Program look the modification date of each file, if it copy them,it's because they have not the same modification date.

Confused! - Alexayr

Hi, I checked the modification dates and they are the same. I'll try changing the preference as suggested in the FAQs when I get a moment and see how that goes. Thanks for the reply.
