A good number of us are still using Tiger because of how buggy Leopard is, and has become. In fact, Leopard has been one of Apple's slowest selling OS's. Why then are developers continuing to cater to this minority?

I agree with Zunipus... I also have 10.4.11 and find it very stable, complete and bug free... so again I will skip till 10.6 2nd version...sometime end 2009, I guess, so I would really like to have this ad killer in my Safari arsenal now!Tuesday, February 24 2009 @ 09:50 AM PST

I totally agree with supporting 10.4. Abandoning 10.4 is unnecessary in most cases, including I suspect this case. However, I have to point out that recent polls have established that 10.4 users are now a minorityt. Leopard has, despite considerable bugs, (especially in 10.5 Server which I still consider to be unusable), been very well accepted. Despite the problems, Leopard has had considerably fewer bugs than Tiger originally had. It was actually Tiger that originally had the poorer reception due to its more abundant bug problems. I still consider 10.4.11 to be preferable to 10.5.6 at this point. But I also consider both to be unnecessarily buggy.
