Older version were good. This one is a stinker. Crash randomly, don't play files that the previous versions were playing smoothly. When you make minor change in the pref you are obliged to trash them as they corrupt everything. Absolutely ridiculous.

Not even an alpha version should be this bad. The dev should stop stroking their ego and get back to work. For the third time i'm downgrading to the 0.8.6 version

Crapware... - epinvt

Couldn't disagree more. Having tried them all, VLC is quite impressive for the size. Plays everything I've thrown at it, without so much as a stutter. Controls take a little getting use to but they all do.
