Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I'm so thankful for this update. It has solved many of the problems with the Finder on my iMac. Strangely these did not occur on my MacBook Pro.

Before I updated I looked around as much as I could to see what people were experiencing with the 10.5.6 install. I took the advice to Repair Permissions (with Disk Utility) on the machines before and after updating and this has resulted in no problems. I have 3 machines to update, a 12" PowerBook and MacBook Pro and 20" iMac. The Mail.app had problems on the MacBook Pro but that was before repairing the permissions, it then worked fine. Also back up before you do the install. I just Archived my Address Book.

Hope that helps.

The Core Audio and AirPort seem a whole load better too.
