Since installing 10.5.6 all mail sounds no longer work.

Mail sounds missing - mediaVinci

I have set up some sounds for some of my mail folders as well. I have noticed a similar issue. Sometimes the sound work properly, other times it works not. Fuzzy.

I also had an issue with a wav file attachment today. I clicked the play button in Apple Mail, the slide button moved but no sound.

I copied the file to my desktop and launched Quicktime. The wav file worked.

I quit Apple Mail and restart the app and then I could hear listen and play the quicktime file directly in Apple Mail.

Needs some fixing.
