Because it's the best of all apps I've tried, yes, even MiniFontsBase. I say it's the best because I want an app that will store EVERYTHING. That is, every type of sensitive info, inc.: account numbers (inc. banks), licenses/serials, user accounts for non-sensitive communities/shopping, user accounts for sensitive communities/shopping, student information, property information (serial numbers etc.), loan information, email accounts (i have SO many), and I might even be forgetting something. The point is, I've tried all the popular apps in the same category (1Passwd, password wallet, of course apple's own Keychain Access, etc., etc,), and even some less known ones (inc. FontBase). This stores everything I want it to. Yes, it's not the best POSSIBLE app of its kind, but that app hasn't been made yet (as far as I am concerned, or know of from all my searching and testing! So until someone makes an app better than this, it's a 5 star app overall. If someone made the (in my opinion, for my tastes!) "perfect" app for securely holding sensitive information this would still be at least a 4 star app. Highly recommended, and nicely improved/cleaner than version 3.2.x. It's easily worth the price if you buy the family license (which I did/need) but still worth it for the single user, since it's the best in breed. I didn't rate support because I haven't need it yet. But I gave: Ease of Use 4; Features 5; Qualtiy/Stability 5; Price 4.
It's easy to use, but, I think it would be POSSIBLE to make a more efficient interface. It has all the features I need, and then some ! Quality is best-in-breed, and no problems yet with v4.0.5 on stability. And I've already covered the price, which could be a 4 or a 5, I am just stingy when it comes to shareware sometimes because I like to use apple's built in software (which I'm paying for when I buy their computers/OS upgrades) i.e. keychain, which has obviously failed me, so maybe that's just bitterness talking, or maybe it should be only 20 bucks for a single-user license, I don't know. As it is the pricing is $25 single, $35 family. Which is a total bargain if you compare that to other apps upgrade price scales from single->family. So, actually, I'm going to switch it to 5 stars since that's what I bought. Goodluck.
