It's no longer $49.95, but $79. A near 60% increase in price.
Of course, the price is for RapidWeaver itself, without taking into account additional expenses for Themes, Plugins, and other Add-ons.
At $79, two superb alternatives are Sandvox Pro or Freeway Express.
RW is certainly better than iWeb, but that's not a difficult accomplishment. Although I have licenses for RW 3 and 4 since it came bundled with other programs, it is definitely not something I would buy for $79. I would not even pay $50 for RW. No wonder it's often offered as part of bundled packages.
Sandvox is more tempting, especially with the current 20% off sale from Dec 10 to Dec 24.

One of the best things about RW is the community, but I'm disappointed with the software itself and their customer support.
