In the iTunes tool bar, under advanced, there is an option, "Get Album Artwork". Select the music you wish to find album art for, and click that option.Tuesday, January 06 2009 @ 04:57 PM PST

it does seem to keep album artwork. it did for at least some of my music. don't know about lyrics, etc.
