Of course it's cross-platform - that's the whole point of writing it in Java. For all that, it's a pretty good little app. In fact, it's better than most color-pickers I've tried. Though the author should correct his blurb to mention the Dock instead of the Task Bar. He is selling it on the Mac side of Version Tracker in this instance. If he knew how much such misstatements put off Mac users, many of whom are offended by any reference to that "other" platform, he'd do it PDQ. ;-)

Umm… I think you're missing the previous poster's point. It sounds like the user is making a statement by referring to the application as cross-platform instead of just labeling it as a Java app. I believe it is a sort of tongue-in-cheek about how on the whole, in order for an Application to be cross-platform, the application cannot be any better that the greatest common factor would allow; in this case (like most), OS X suffers the feebleness of Windows.Reply to This
