I have had no end to problems with Wiretap Pro on my Mac (OS X 10.4). The app suddenly forgot that I was registered, which meant chasing it down with Ambrosia. Once that problem was fixed, it would inexplicably occasionally insert the watermark into the recording. Like another poster, it asks me every time I start the app if I want to upgrade - but no upgrade is available. But most frustrating is that it's impossible to use the preferences: it sends my machine into paralysis. In the past, it would hang for twenty seconds; at some point, though, it just started to hang and hang.

I have to wonder if one of the recent updates actually introduced bugs. Or is that too cynical?

I paid for this software. Given the problems, I certainly wouldn't 'upgrade' to Studio, and would recommend that readers look elsewhere for a Mac audio solution.
