SuperDuper is the perfect solution, CCC is the perfect nightmare. You want tech support for lost data, go to the forum (Valley of Tears) and search around there for a few years. What arrogance these "people" have.

First of all, you are wrong -- their customer service is fantastic for a company that doesn't even require you to pay for their vaunted product! Carbon Copy Cloner is UNCRIPPLED shareware (in other words, it's fully functional whether you pay for it or not), for which they ask only a $10 donation. Also, I once had a question (before I had paid for it), and they responded by email with the answer within 12 hours!Friday, February 20 2009 @ 10:07 PM PST

I found SuperDuper to be a PITA and hard to remove once I didn't like it.CCC has been flawless for me, and essential in backing up my Macs.
