Why not just use the free plug-in "DownloadHelper" for Firefox, one click and the movie is on your desktop in flv, just open it in Quicktime and save as. "Get Tube" is cool to for Safari and Firefox. Just go to it's prefs and set the save path, and the conversion, it's super easy and auto converts.
