There are at least FIVE other programs available that enable you to use your iPhone to store files without having to jailbreak the iPhone. If you include apps that do jailbreak the iPhone, the number rises to probably 15 apps.
Here's a free one that allows you to use your iPhone to store files: DiskAid 2.0 (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/10860863).
Then there's one of the foremost paid apps, Air Sharing 1.0.3 available for $6.99 on the App Store.
Don't trust any company that makes such outlandish claims, especially such easily disproved claims, and especially especially when VersionTracker commenters have been complaining about this lie since at least March 2008 (check out the comments from editor48, irm77, etc.).
And by the way, just what the heck IS iPhoneDrive? The app is called PhoneView; and they don't explain what iPhoneDrive is. And they want $19.95 for this? These appear to be scammers.
PhoneView
iPhone desktop companion.
Version: 2.3.2
This is a LIE: "iPhoneDrive is the only way to use your iPhone to store files." - ecammnetwork
True that. Sorry, that info dates back to over a year ago and is of course no longer accurate. I will update the VersionTracker description.-Glen
