I contacted support last week. Here's the response I got (three identical copies, by the way, one to EVERY address registered with VT):"Thank you for your query. We are looking into the reason your New Software list is not updating. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and will keep you posted as to our progress. Please let us know when your New Software List updates."
So they'll look into it, and keep me updated (they haven't), but also want me to tell them if it magically starts working.
Not confidence inspiring. Refund requests are just a few days away.
