I like PW, use it all the time, but why so many prompts to save? Even when you open and close without altering anything?

Why so many prompts to save? - Sanford Selznick

This is because you have "Save last accessed date" set in preferences. So when you open your file, its access date changes, and the file then needs to be saved. You can just turn off this preference, or turn on "auto save" from the "Wallet" menu.
