I tried it once and my macbook did go to sleep, of course it may have gone to sleep by itself, I cannot tell because sometimes it does and sometimes it does not, so I cannot be sure if it was this app or not, but it definitely did not have any adverse effects so until the time I use it and it does not work thanks
