Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

Just to drop a note: it looks like Senuti is no longer free. The GoogleCode Senuti Project Page
http://code.google.com/p/senuti/
has been pulled and you are directed to fadingred.com
http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/
That site says that you can do a trial of Senuti, with a purchase price of $18.

Not complaining, just thought that should be pointed out here.

WTF (re: Looks like it is no longer free) - Interactive_Civilian

Alright. This is messed up. You go from free to non-free with an automatic software update, so that software that was functioning just fine goes to non-functioning???? What the hell is up with that?

The parent post may not be complaining, but I am. This is a load of tauroscat. I've been using Senuti since the first release, but no more. Off to find a decent alternative. Hopefully someone grabbed the source while it was GPL (up to version 0.33?) and has forked it.

Anyone know?

If this is it, go grab it quick:

Before them wise-a** fading red people start closing this one too.

The software is great, and would gladly pay for it, HAD IT BEEN COMMERCIAL FROM THE GET GO! I wonder why free software folks are not up these guys necks yet. There could have been a better way they handled it. This is a total spit in the face of what GPL and Open Source is about, as well as the community that formed around it.

Fork the damn thing and let the true open source guys beat the crap of their product.
