Like so many other Mac sync products (ChronoSync etc) this is slooowwww for large (>25,000 files) sync sets. So slow, in fact, its quicker just to copy ALL the files again.
I set File Sync to work on a 150,000 file folder tree. After two hours it was still *thinking* about what to copy (it hadnt actually copied anything yet). Finder managed to copy the entire tree in 75 minutes.
If Finder can copy the whole tree faster than this tool can sync, what's the point?

I hear you, all those that are reporting File Synchronizaiton to be slow with large folders. Not to argue or defend the application but you have to keep in mind that when I originally developed the application 4 years ago, it was mostly designed for personal use. 150,000 files/folders is not what I would characterize as "personal" by any stretch :-) I still think that for $15, File Synchronization is still a good deal for individuals...In any case, I have started the rewrite of the application and I'm planning to use Spotlight information to discover what files have changed more quickly. Stay tuned!

I am 100% in agreement with you, it is to slow.Probably better using rsync or the gui equivalent arRsync
What I really would like to find, is the OSX equivalent of "Allway Sync"
If it was not of the speed issue and and some lack of functionality, this is the closet thing I found.
Please "File Sync" developers, have a fast look at "Allway Sync" and see if you can not adapt so of its features for the next release.
cheers
