This is indeed a good tool for working with chm files, but it certainly could use a search.

But another concern is whether it's dead. This is the end of 2008 and the 4beta was released in 2006 ... this indicates to me yet another dead Mac product. Kind of makes me want to stick with the paid developers, but at least I don't rely on this for my revenue.
