Thunderbird is in desperate need of a full User Interface rework. Still, it has some nice features and the functionality I need, even if it's hard to use at time.

The newest thing in this version is the ability to display "meeting.ics" files received as attachments to email messages from Microsoft Outlook.

#1 on my improvement list would be speeding up searching. #2 would be to consider an option to place messages into individual files, rather than one big (hard to index and easy to corrupt) database.
