An alternative is to use GlimmerBlocker as it doesn't hack into Safari and therefore is free from crashes; and you'll always be able to upgrade Safari and/or OSX without problems.

I would have added this as a separate product to versiontracker, but the developers section of versiontracker is being upgraded, so it's currently not possible.

I am using GB and find it much less functional than PithHelmet.* GB is less convenient to add blocked sites.
In PH, it's s contextual menu item.
* When PH blocks an image, the space collapses.
In GB, one is left with a large, ugly space.
Of course, PH doesn't work right now ;)

An alternative - works well - tryme
I'm a long time Pith user that has installed Glimmerblocker and am very pleased with the result so far - albeit with some minor frustration in the intital setup due to Little Snitch throwing up a warning for every site, but that is not GB's fault and will pass.Who knows, at this stage by the time the developer updates Pith Helmet, and we know how long that can take, I will probably not even bother with it.
