evernote is okay, but it has terrible manners. It installs startup items without asking and reinstalls them if you delete them. For me this is a deal breaker. I don't want my computer's resources eaten by something I would only occasionally use.
It should ask permission to install a startup item or at the very least offer a option to stop it from reinstalling it every time.

Hi Jon. If you open the Evernote preferences window and click on the "Clipper" pane, there is an option called "Use Evernote Clipper". If you uncheck this option the clipper will not run at startup.Reply to This
