This is one of the best OSX utilities available at any price. The developers really "get it," especially in the elegant way they've made multiple batch processes followed by actions like restarts so easy and fast to set up. The quick menu bar access, Growl support and real-time log reporting are also excellent features that professionals appreciate.

My design shop has used MainMenu daily on several computers, including new 8-core Mac Pros, as well as PowerBooks and G5s since March of '08, saving Onyx for tougher or more comprehensive maintenance situations. If MM's developers are actually out of business even though their website and downloads continue to be active, it will be quite a shame and a great loss for the growing community of MM users who were eagerly anticipating updates to the program. It will also be a lost business opportunity for the developers who could have easily offered a paid version, with only a few more added features and upgraded support, that could have been very successful at a nominal price.
