I use Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 primarily to shoot time lapse sequences that take longer than 3-4 hours. I have no complains about the Nikon Camera Control software (been using Nikon software since Nikon Capture 4).

The one pet peeve I have is the Nikon updating function that is built into the Camera Control Pro 2. When I check through the Nikon software, it says all my software is up to date even though it is not. This has been an issue since the early days of Nikon's Capture/Camera control software. If it wasn't for sites like Version Tracker, I would not be informed of any Nikon software updates.
