I agree with a previous reviewers comment on the iPhone component, I have been waiting patiently for Apple to fix a huge omission in not having an iPhone to do list sync with iCal - as one who relies on his to do list I paid for Things on my iPhone and downloaded the desktop version excited at the prospect of finally having a to do list that syncs with my desktop rather than a web based offering.

One major bug in the software has driven me crazy, if you quit and relaunch the desktop app or when the system date changes around 35 or so rescheduled tasks will appear back in the Today list showing as due or overdue by how many days since creation. If you reschedule them they will reappear once one of the aforementioned scenarios occurs. I start each day rescheduling the same tasks and if I fail to sync the iPhone first I have to repeat the reschedule.

It is an insane scenario for a task manager that has sent me searching for an alternative. An email to support has gone unacknowledged and certainly makes me extremely hesitant to fork out another $40 ($60 in my currency, likely more by January given the current state of affairs). Would I recommend Things as it stands right now? No.
