This program is still the same mess it always was. I've had it since 1987 and in all that time you still can't produce a leadsheet without having to go through massively unintuitive steps. Shame on you MakeMusic!

If you are new to music notation, go with Sibelius instead. It's not perfect but it least it's making progress unlike this hunk of bloatware.

Not really - hkim

I disagree completely about Sibelius. It was supposed to be recoded to work better in OSX and it clearly does not. Sibelius also is not very intuitive or fast when it comes to making lead sheets or arrangements. Frankly, I use Overture for that since it does that so much quicker.

Finale may still be better for larger projects, despite the problems with legacy code and bugs.
