as a very loyal Mac user (I have 2 pages written about me in "The Cult of the Mac"), I have to turn up the reverb on all the very negative and very accurate comments about Bento 2. I bought a family pack of the first iteration of Bento and even the serial numbers were misprinted and I had to work through tech support and waste a heap of time just to be able to use the product. Now, after limping along with this mediocre bit of shareware, I am asked to shell out another $100 for a piddling (in terms of new features) upgrade. Apple needs a big wake up call on this. I usually buy Apple products without even thinking in terms of cost/benefit (I'm a shareholder and so can justify the expenditure pretty easily plus its my addiction), but I absolutely won't be fool enough to waste my dough to be insulted in this manner.
