Just so people know...
Version 4 installer puts an invisible folder (a dot before the name) called .install4j at the root of the folder where the program sits.
(for instance, in the Applications folder if you chose it)
The folder contains a bunch of files like a log and .dll program files, and even a .exe Windows file.
Don't know what is this all for.
Invisible folder manually removed...

Invisible folder - rikkiprince
install4j is a cross-platform, Java-based installer program. Like InstallShield on Windows. You could have figured that out with *one* simple search on Google (it's the first result), and realised that it's not spyware or a virus, and realised that you don't need to delete it.
There are better places to hide things than in a hidden directory in the main folder :)

Invisible folder - DavidPabian
Thanks, I also got rid of the invisible folder... then went all the way and dumped Vuze for good ol' Transmission - cleaner, speedier, better.Reply to This
