After the 2008-003 appeared in time for Europe to install via Software Update and realise it killed functionality and it was withdrawn before the US could suffer the same fate... Apple managed to fix its errors and release the 2008-004 Update.
This updates the Airport firmware to Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (5.10.38.9) but this time enables the 'n' functions the 2008-003 update removed.
No problems with install or update at all and after restart I even got my 802.11 'n' functionality back so I can use ADSL again via BT home hub (n) rather than having to resort to dial-up.
Recommended for Use.
... now if apple had release this instead of 2008-003 we would not have had anything to moan about! ;)
