Parallels used to be a fine virtual utility but something really took a wrong turn and I'm not sure what heppened over there but it's very, very unusable now. VMWare Fusion trumps Parallels in every way possible. I've even been toying with a Parallels 4RC and it doesn't run near as smoothly and easily as VMWare fusion, not to mention Parallels appears to have something of an identity crisis,; they've changed the Apps icon, colors and slapped this absurd pair of red, vertical, "parallel" lines over the top of every icon in the dock; again I assume this is some stupid attempt to depict the icon is running under "parallels" but instead it looks like some sort of ridiculous warning, error or alert type of symbol, it's just ridiculous.
I've finally decided to let go of Parallels altogether, abandoning any hope and investing instead in VMWare Fusion, the successful alternative. My best advice, skip the hassles save your time and spare the headaches by going with Fusion,

Uh yeah, your comparing a BETA version of Desktop Parallels 4 to a stable release of VMwareGive us a break with your BS.
Until Desktop Parallels 4.0 is actually released save your comments for the developer's forum.
Desktop Parallels 3 works just fine for me and you couldn't pay me enough to switch VMware!
