I have had VTP for 4 days. In that time I have tried uncountable times to register but to no avail. It will display but every time I try to do something-skip, download, etc it goes to the screen that tells me to register."" this URL: https://secure.versiontracker.com/login.php"" and this is what I get, even when I use the name and password given me.
Also there are multiple listings for applications with no explanation. Because of the above problem i cannot troubleshoot.
Queries to email support seem to generate stock replies which refer me back to websites that do nothing but run me around in circles.
A phone call from a LIVE person could probably resolve this very quickly.(562-425-7805)
I installed this years ago on another computer and was very satisfied with the results.

I would argue that this “positive spin” PR blurb is not best service possible. As VersionTracker’s standard PASTED “response” to all problem reports, it completely avoids the point of proactively addressing any specific issue or offering any assurance that it will be addressed by the developers. For true credibility and actual usefulness, I would recommend that the standard blurb be amended to read as follows:Thank you for your feedback. It is our intention is to provide you the best service possible. Accordingly, I will pass your report to the VersionTracker development team, which will address the issue and post a response on this page.
