In the spirit of the kind person who posted the direct link for downloading, here is how to install Expander without running the pointless installer:
Control-click the installer and choose Show Package Contents
Navigate to Contents -> Resources -> Payload
Drag either the Stuffit folder or the Stuffit Expander app to your Utilities folder
I keep this lame app around to open legacy archives, but Smith Micro makes it nearly impossible to not hate them for constantly making simple things more complex with every release.
