Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I've used previous versions of this software and it was ASTOUNDINGLY BAD! This version seems better, but on my first try to sync, it crashed partway thru the process. i was only syncing contacts from my address book.I deliberately didn't select any other sync options. It didn't sync anything. It just crashes.

The previous version synced some stuff, but took about 6 hours, before I gave up and force quit the app. In my opinion, it should be able to accomplish the job in about 15 min. At the very least, it should indicate how far along it is in the process, and allow you to cancel. 6 + hours?
&^%* !!

so, a crash after about 60 seconds of use is better than waiting 6 hours for it to not work.

Amazing that this product ever got out the door. QA is actually an important part of software development.

Crashed on first try - thebroz

As a comment to my own review, subsequent launches of this application seemed to work OK. Indeed, more than 650 contacts made it to the device without a hitch in less than 60 seconds! While that shouldn't really be amazing, it's incredible compared to the previous version of this app that spent more than 6 hours trying to accomplish the same thing, and never finished.

I also tried syncing calendar items, iTunes tunes, and both seemed to work just fine.

Maybe something needed to happen on first run, before it all worked properly. I donno, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
